For generations, buying a diamond meant trusting whatever the person behind the counter decided to tell you. What the stone actually cost them, what the grade really meant, how much of the price was markup. None of it was yours to see, which is exactly how the price stayed high.
We got tired of watching people overpay for something they were never really allowed to inspect. So we built Aurélinne around the one thing the trade keeps avoiding: just tell people everything.
